Patrick L. Hitchcock, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Hitchcock graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1973. He started Lavonia Animal Hospital on August 12, 1974, and our hospital has been in continous operation for more than 52 years!
Jason K. Macomson, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Macomson first began working at Lavonia Animal Hospital in 1986, when he was about 12 years old. He graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1973.
Kim Watson
Office Manager
Ms. Watson began working at Lavonia Animal Hospital as a veterinary assistant in 1992. Her bubbly personality is legendary among our clientele!
Mary Michal Ferguson
Assistant Office Manager
Mrs. Ferguson came to Lavonia Animal Hospital in the early 2000s. She helps keep the office going behind the scenes.
Savannah L. Busby, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Busby graduated from the University of. Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 and worked with us for several years before pursuing work with poultry in the federal government. She returned to private practice in August 2026 and we are glad to have her back!
Brianna Allegood
Veterinary Assistant
Ms. Allegood is an experienced veterinary assistant who also helps keep the office running smoothly. She loves to help rehabilitate wild animals.
Aspen Allen
Veterinary Assistant
Ms. Allen recently joined the animal hospital team and helps assist with animals and keep the kennels running smoothly.
Bridgette Fowler
Veterinary Assistant
Mrs. Fowler is the newest addition to our team. She joined us in August of 2026 and we are glad to have her with us.
Amani Wilson
Veterinary Assistant
Amani began working at Lavonia Animal Hospital at the age of 15. He is currently finishing his first year at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine!
